I have also tried this extension and have uninstalled this extension after using it for a few weeks. It crashes Firefox quite often. If you try to use the extension on a blank page, it crashes Firefox for sure (99.99% of the time). It's a cool concept, but opening up the same page in IE along with Firefox actually saves more resources and time; it's faster to just hit refresh twice in two browsers to view your changes than to wait for Firefox to re-render the page in IE in Firefox.

I'm reluctant to try this class of plugin. One problem I have when doing this development is that plugins alter what is also my testing environment. For example, if you use the console.log function for debugging using firebug, any browser without the plugin will fail on your code (I have a wrapper for console.log that I use instead, which fails gracefully - maybe I'll post it).

Adding a plugin that will render as IE seems to me to have similar issues. Am I REALLY testing in IE here? Or is this IE-in-Firefox tab indicative of the experience a user is likely to encounter?

I'd rather just open up IE.

...much as I hate to.

I was so excited when I heard about this, I jumped right on it. It is unfortunately quite buggy... it will either just fail to render the page, or in extreme cases, crash Firefox entirely. It got to the point where it was just too unreliable for me and I've either uninstalled it or just stopped using it. Would love to hear if it's working better for others.
